Tandem BASE Jumps

BASE jump moab is the longest operating and most experienced tandem BASE jumping tour service in the area. Our guides have hundreds of tandem BASE jumps and thousands of skydiving tandems. We are open 24/7/365 and provide options for Tandem BASE jumping all over the desert. We can make unique missions and adventures for your specific wants and needs. We have a handful of options and you are welcome to ask about which experiences are best for you.

Our intro trips are usually the Tombstone Tandem BASE jump options that involve short drives from town, hikes up to 45 min, and include views of behind the rocks, petroglyphs, and arches. These jumps are good for people up to roughly 200 lbs and video and apparel can be added to you trips. For solo travelers and groups up to 3-4 people, this is our best trip for first timers.

Our Mineral Bottom Tandem BASE jumping Trips are for larger groups. There are a handful of cliffs that have the unique ability to be shuttled by vehicle. WE can drive to the bottom of the cliffs and pick you and your family or friends up after your tandem BASE jumps and drive you back to the top. These trips have discounted rates for groups and have a bit more altitude to fly around with after the jump. These tandem base trips are an hour drive from moab, but also worth the views!

Our other trips are considered adventure trips that involve more physical output from the client. There is steep hiking and fixed ropes that must be climbed to reach the point at which you jump. These tandem BASE jumping tours are still popular but are recommended for fit adventurers with a background in exploration and have more than basic fitness. Fitness is essential to these jumps because of the intensity of the approach. They are a bit more challenging and a bit more pricey— but also sought after experiences!!

Jimmy Peterson is our loyal and dedicated pilot who both flies the Hot Air Balloons you see every morning and has hundreds of Tandem BASE jumps as well; thousands from the SKY too! Since the beginning— Jimmy Peterson has supported the dream and goal and philosophy of BASE jump Moab- and has been a tremendous help time and time again! We trained skydiving together, we’ve BASE jumped for a decade together, and he is invaluable to the success of our goal— to share the gift of flight with people of all ages, sizes, and walks of life. He’s been a literal life saver on at least a handful of occasions!

Jimmy Peterson has been a Commercial Pilot since 2015 and has logged over 600 hours flying over Arches, Canyonlands, and the canyons in Utah. Jimmy moved to Moab in 2010 gaining the knowledge and know how to fly a Hot Air Balloon. Since then her has upgraded to larger balloons, bigger groups and even won awards for the success of his business from google! Together we have been supporting each other in the creation of our businesses and the stoke and moral support has been appreciated both ways. He’s truly a great partner and a better friend!
